Martin and Carol Langford
...are restoring an old pioneer cabin in Hoover Valley, Burnet County, Texas. The structure is a hand-hewn log cabin built in about 1850. The land and cabin were once owned by Isaac Hoover and his wife, Anna, who came to Burnet County around 1853 from Tennessee. They had, in turn, purchased the land from Jacob De Cordova. Hoover, a Methodist minister, died in 1904.

THE BENJAMIN FRANKLIN AND
MARY HAY LANGFORD, JR. HOME
The people in the history of the Frank and Mary Hay Langford
Home (Fourteenth Street and Hackberry, Bandera, Texas) were all true pioneers
who saw Bandera grow from a wilderness of beauty and danger to a community
where they were proud to raise their children and grandchildren. This old home represents turn-of-the-century life in a rural Texas town.
